We run MystiCrafted together as a married couple, building the business side by side with a mix of creativity, strong teamwork, and a technical mindset on both sides. From crochet patterns and commissions to listings, website work, organisation, and MystiCrafted Studio, this is something we build together every day.
Danielle leads the pattern design and testing side of MystiCrafted, shaping each release from the first idea through to the written pattern, final details, and the overall feel of each design. She also works on the made-to-order commissions that come in.
Wesley leads much of the technical, website, MystiCrafted Studio, and administrative side, keeping the behind-the-scenes work organised and running smoothly while quietly making sure Danielle never runs out of coffee.
MystiCrafted began on Etsy in 2025 as a place to share original crochet patterns that felt creative, well-made, and true to the kind of work we genuinely love making.
From the beginning, it was never just about uploading products. It was a shared project that brought together design, testing, presentation, organisation, and the systems needed to do everything properly.
Our work is often inspired by fantasy creatures, nature, and aquatic life. We love designs that feel magical, characterful, and memorable without losing clarity or structure.
That carries across the whole brand, from crochet patterns and made-to-order pieces to the way we photograph, write, and present everything around them.
Danielle leads the pattern design, testing, and commissions side. Wesley leads much of the website, studio tooling, listings, PDFs, and operational side. But in practice, we both overlap and help each other constantly.
That teamwork is one of the biggest parts of MystiCrafted. We do not treat this as two separate lanes. We build it together, solve problems together, and keep refining things together.
MystiCrafted Studio is not a separate version of MystiCrafted that grew out of the crochet itself. It is a self-made tool we built because we wanted better support for our own workflow and for other handmade creators too.
It focuses on the practical side of running a creative business, from listings and pattern support to the systems that make handmade work easier to manage well.
We care deeply about making work that feels original, polished, and personal. That means not only designing strong patterns, but also making sure the writing, visuals, listings, and finished experience all feel considered.
We also care about building in a way that is sustainable and practical. Good creative work needs good systems around it, and that is a big part of what we are always refining behind the scenes.
Whether you are here for crochet patterns, a made-to-order piece, or you are a handmade creator looking for better tools through MystiCrafted Studio, we would love to show you what we are building.
